Artisitc Swimming Team Overview

Joining ABC Artistic swimming offers a variety of exciting benefits for swimmers. The program is focusing on improving fitness, building endurance, mastering essential techniques like sculling, and developing dance and movement skills in the water.

It also incorporates swimming to music, helping swimmers enhance their rhythm, coordination, and performance. Additionally, there are opportunities to participate in our annual gala in December, where swimmers can perform in a team routine and compete in races.

ABC Squad is a wonderful way to stay engaged in swimming, combining creativity and sport without the commitments of a traditional club.

Artistic Swimming Team Lessons

• Participants must be able to swim 25m front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke
• Swim to music
• Learn new skills such as eggbeater, sculling, figures and choreographing a routine
• Dive & jump into hoops
• Swim with bottles to achieve lifting your legs out of the water
• Achieve Artistic swimming stages 8, 9 & 10
• Alongside the Artistic swimming stages we work towards the routine grades 1 - 4 
• There will be opportunity to swim in displays at ABC Gala's

Awards

• LTSP Artistic swimming stages 8, 9 & 10
• Routine Artistic swimming grades 1 - 4

Certificate will be given as complimentary to children when they achieve the awards
